State Representative Vella Recognizes Health Care Leader in Honor of National Women Physician Day

BELVIDERE, IL. – In an effort to highlight inspirational individuals in our community, State Representative Dave Vella (IL-68) is proud to recognize Kimberly Miller, MD of Crusader Community Health on National Women Physician Day. Dr. Miller was nominated to receive this honor by her peers through Vella’s Highlight a Hero initiative. Throughout her years at Crusader Community Health, Dr. Miller has demonstrated exceptional leadership while providing the highest quality of care to her patients. As Family & Adult Department Chair, she has significantly improved the onboarding process for providers and supervises dozens of advanced practice providers. To quote her colleagues, “She is an excellent mentor, with a compassionate heart, strong work ethic, and an amazing sense of humor.” Friends, family and colleagues will join Rep. Vella for a recognition ceremony that will take place Friday, February 3rd from 10am - 11am at the Belvidere Crusader Community Health Clinic (1050 Logan Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008) Media is encouraged to attend.
